Produced a home movied via moviemaker software ...

Produced a home movied via moviemaker software but it's 2:19 long and will not fit on the standard verbatim disc, can I use DVD -R DL? And do I need special equipment to record or playback the results? Thanks
Asked by: Morris
Check that 2 hours and nineteen minutes, and see how many gigabytes it is. The main point is, if the file size is less than 8.5 gigabytes it will usually fit on these discs. If you need to reduce resolution to make it fit on a DL disc, that becomes a different question.

question

Hi! is the DVD glossy or mate finish? I will appreciate, thanks!
Asked by: Ignacio T.
It is glossy, and very dependable. You will be quite pleased with the results ... especially if you use the Primera printer with Sure Thing Premera Edition software to print faces on your discs.

question

Do these disks have the AZO coating I have been reading about? The DataLifePlus is recommended but the articles also mention AZO. Thanks so much for any help!
Asked by: Patricia T.
I don't know what kind of coating they have. All I know is that I use them and they work fine. I use them with a Bravo SE printer.

question

Has anyone ever had any problems when recording on this particular disc?
Asked by: Morris
The key to burning 8.5g disks is to burn at a slow speed. I have had bad disks with this brand, but not too many - maybe 5%. I did have one pack arrive where a few disks looked like they were coming apart - very strange, but only one time. I do use Verbatims more than other brands.

question

Can I use my PC's internal burner to record home movies on this DVD? My PC is an HP (windows 7) or do I need an external burner to do the job?
Asked by: Anonymous
Yes, your internal burner is capable of copying to this DVD as long as you have the necessary software on your PC.
