This microphone works well on my cluttered desk top. It does no require pinpoint directionality to pick up several voices all participating in our worship services via Zoom. Good quality for a low price.

Bad For VoIP

If you touch this while on a call it will be very noisy - that includes the volume or on/off switch. You cannot mute yourself on the device without loud sounds of the dial or switch being shared with everyone on the call. Feedback continues until a few seconds after you let go of it. Poor design.

Defective microphone.

The plastic of the microphone was not glued together properly and it does not function.

This is great for Skype meetings - much better than the built in microphones on my Mac Book Pro and MacBook Air. The power pilot light is on the USB cord. But there is not an illuminated indication on the base of the microphone defining when the microphone is actually turned on. The volume is adjustable.

Works great for me

I like it, fits right on my desk, I can easily switch it off and not worry if its still running, and since i use a lot of apps that require a mic, this was great in a pinch (friends that i speak to notice the quality of the audio and that it could be a bit better, but that's what you get for a 20$ mic, but it works)

Significant improvement in sound quality and with the added bonus of volume control. All of this at a budget ...

Easy to install. Great sound according to the people I talk to online. Been using it with Zoom. No issues. Affordable.

question

Would this work with Dragon software for basic voice recognition?
Asked by: Anonymous
I don't see why not. I use it to record outgoing messages for a voicemail system, and the results are quite clear.
