Every time I watch this video, I learn a new tip. If I hadn't watched this video I wouldn't have known I could set the AF-On located on the back right side of the camera to focus with my thumb instead of with the index finger On/Off. My exposures turn out much better. The Nikon D800 has so many advances that one needs the videos when upgrading from any prior Nikon camera.

The perfect DVD to get started...

This is a perfect product to get deep enough to understand the camera. Lets face it there are a ton of buttons on this even compared to a D90 or D80 which isn't all that old. When I hear folks on the internet in a forum saying they are going to send their camera back because it shouldn't adjust the shutter speed I too thought my camera was faulty. Nope. You have to understand the camera and as it turns out the popular answer was that the bracketing was on - NOPE! In 10 minutes (or so) of watching this video you quickly realize that there are different modes which give you some control, all control, somewhat automatic, etc. Select the right mode and you are golden. All that to say, this is the VERY FASTEST, EASIEST way to learn the basics of this complex camera in a single day hands down.
