Finally got my headset to work on the computer smoothly
I have used Plantronics for many years, and found their products to be some of the best-performing ones out there. I've been using this (along with the Voyager Legend) for work, particularly with VOIP calls (Skype for Business). The quality of the calls has degraded to the point that I use a cheap wired USB headset - it has much superior call quality.
Died after about 14 months. Unacceptable. Definitely turned me off to Plantronics the warranty is only one year. I wear hearing aids and will look to more dependable brands.
I bought a Voyager Legend and it didn't come with the dongle. So I had to buy it. It works. It doesn't do what I specifically want and research stated it would do (announce caller from 3CX), but it's a good sturdy device. Still looking for one that announces though.
Love this device! Easy to connect to both iphone and laptop. And the sound quality can't be beat!
Had to replace the USB adapter since I broke the original. It was delivered as promised and paired quickly! Back to work...
LOVE the Voyager Legend headset and you need the BT300 to make it work with a computer. It's small and was lost when I changed offices, never to be seen again. Of course, now that I bought a new one, I'm sure it will resurface. I did purchase it through Plantronics website. It was a little less costly than Amazon and I was able to make sure I was getting the correct one as it wasn't 100% clear to me which dongle I needed for my Plantronics Legend. Plus you just can't beat Plantronic's support and customer service.
