I lost my camera charger cord during my trip to Israel and Jordan back in April, so I needed a way to recharge my battery. Once I got this unit, I was able to effectively recharge my camera battery. Now that the US and Israel have dropped the vaccination and covid testing requirements as of August 1st, I am going back to Israel and Egypt in October with my wife and another couple.

Works well. Compact. After a long day of shooting, one battery can recharge here while the other recharges in the camera. Nice to have a 2nd method for recharging the batteries.

A great choice

Charger Usability

I needed a charger for the batteries (NP-BX1) of my Sony camera, which I purchased at B&H (enjoying the camera!) and had to do an extensive search to find the correct charger for the batteries. I reviewed the posted comments about the charger and how you had to insert the batteries upside down to charge and that you needed the adapter plate to use the charger for the NP-BX1 batteries. I was a little concerned that I would have to pay extra for the plate as I had seen on other sites. After reading all of the related information about the charger, I placed my order. While waiting for my order to arrive, I started worrying that the adapter plate was not included. I re-read the information on the site and hoped for the best. I was glad when it arrived and the plate was included. I like that there are multiple ways to charge, the size is small enough that it will fit in small spaces for traveling, and that the lights (red when charging/green when finish) lets you know when it is done. It would have been good to have an estimate of how long it takes to charge, however, it I can be figured out after charging a couple of times and keeping notes of how long it takes. The downside is that you have to be on the lookout for when the light changes.

I like it.

So far, the charger has been used to charge 2 Sony batteries, and it worked perfectly so far. What else would I want?

you can find the different Watson interchangeable battery plates listed as accessories with their matching cameras. it is my understanding that the system is made to work with a variety of brands and models, but you can check with BH customer service to make sure.

question

Can it be used with a Sony RX-100?
Asked by: maite
Yes, I've been using this charger because the Sony RX-100 comes with only a USB cord to charge the battery thru the camera. The little door on the outlet is fragile and it just seems better to take the battery out and charge it rather than thru the camera all the time. The RX-100 battery fits this charger.

question

One review states that it can't charge the original battery. Is it true? Thanks
Asked by: Anonymous
Dear fellow shopper:I have charged the original battery of Sony camera and a battery provided with the charger. The results seem to be the same- in a few hours both were chargered (red light changed to green). After one year of use the charger and batteries continue to work perfectly. No complaints.
