Olympus PPZR-EP03 Reviews
who doesn't want sharp focus
This is a little controversial item. In theory it is very important to get the focus exactly where you want it and it will help you to get there. Just make the pre auto focus, set the focus to manual and then use the zoom square to put the focus exactly were you want it. How to do it? If you have the camera well placed and stable the focus ring will be a marvelous piece of kit, if not, just use the auto focus and confirm the photos until you get your wanted result. There is a third way which is quite painful: after auto focus, set the camera to manual focus, turn the zoomsquare on and push or pull the camera that needed bit to get things right... The gear works perfectly, it is snug, it doesnt jump of the dented weel, and it eliminates reflections due to the entrance of light from the rear part of the housing, but I do not know if it is very usable in most of the conditions I dive which include waves and current and instability...
Works like a charm
Fits lke a glove on my EPM1 with the 60mm f2.8 maro lens. Must have purchase if you plan on using in an olympus underwater housing.
