Canare L-4E6S 200M BLK Reviews
Sturdy / Fair Price
This cable is good for running to the mounted speakers and room microphones i have setup not sure i would use it where it could be stepped on. Thank you B&H for offering this product.
Great cable, but thick
Great cable, well damped for handling noise. Stiffer than normal in the hand; the braided shield is tight to pick apart for soldering. No problems yet, except it’s a tight fit for mounts for normal thickness cables.
We love this cable for microphones. Prep is complicated but the result is stellar.
Fantastic build quality.
I decided to replace all my mono price cables with Canare and I'm already noticing a huge difference in studio recording quality. The quad takes a little more work to strip but well worth.
The #1 stage cable for amplified harmonica players
I use this wire to fabricate custom cables for pro harmonica players worldwide. It's very good wire. The XLPE insulation around the inner conductors is great, doesn't melt or shrink during the soldering process. Clean signal transmission, very flexible. Quad conductors are a pain to strip, twist, clean, tin and solder. There are multiple filler strands that add strength to this cable which have to be trimmed away from stripped ends. The braided shield is a hassle to undo, my particular application needs 1 1/4 unbraided without cutting into it, it's very time consuming. I much prefer working with the spiral shielded Mogami quad... but Mogami costs a LOT more and is only marginally better.
I love this stuff
I’ve used this a number of times, and it’s been great for installs, and for making cables. I’ll be buying again when I run out.
best star quad mic cable for the price
I've used the Canare L-4E6S cable for over 25 years and all of them still work as well as they did when they were new. This cable coils better than any I've used. B&H had the best price from all the places I shopped.
