MultiCart RRK1 Reviews
Less than great but still useful
Can't keep the extension mounted and fold up the cart, so it's often more trouble than it's worth but if you really need to move lots of stuff all at once and can take the time to install the extension, it can be useful.
Did not like the brackets that come on it at all. Took them off and permanently mounted it to the frame. It rocks & rolls now....was easy to do. Just drilled and bolted it on....
This attachment is a must for video people. It carries tripods and lighting stands securely, but a mesh bottom would be a little more helpful. Still, it is a "must have" for the cart.
Add an empty trash can for a quick and easy stand holder
It was a bit confusing to figure out how to install at first, but after you get it figured out, it's really easy to attach and detach. I added this to my card with an empty plastic kitchen trash bin that sits on top of the rack with a couple of bungee cords holding it to the upright handle. Now I have a really simple bin to carry 6 light stands and a few grip arms at the end of my cart.
One of the best investments I ever made. It's not cheap but it's worth it :)
Serves it's purpose
I love the multicart and this extension rack definitely helps out. I wish it had inserts for a solid shelf so stands would not fall through. As is, it takes some additional bungee'ing to make sure everything is secure when you roll. I think another essential missing piece would be an open attachment near the top of the rail to secure standing items near the top. I will be DIY'ing a solution in the near future. The rack is solid and easily attaches.
Ads extra space!
This extension is perfect, adding more storage and flexibility in how to move a lot of stuff on this rack. It couples very well with the stand bag that they also provide and reinforces the base. Or you could just stack other gear on it and bungie-cord it in. Very Versatile!
Gets the job done but didn't quite fit as tight as I would've liked. But, it was easily fixed with a small spacer.
