Presented in a 328' roll, the black Mogami W2534 Neglex Quad High-Definition Microphone Bulk Cable offers premium audio quality and noise rejection for use in analog/digital recording, balanced equipment interconnects, and high-end unbalanced gear hookups. Its construction features 24 AWG Neglex quad oxygen-free copper conductors, served (spiral) bare copper shield, cross-linked polyethylene insulation, and a flexible PVC outer jacket.

The W2534 cable provides high immunity to electromagnetic interference (EMI) and radio-frequency interference (RFI) and extremely low capacitance, allowing it to yield a 10 to 20 dB improvement in signal-to-noise ratio performance compared to similar twisted pair cables. As a result, the W2534 cable is also ideal for home/project studios in which grounding issues and wiring problems exist.

Conductor insulation is XLPE (Cross-Linked Polyethylene), which has excellent electrical characteristics and prevents shrink-back during soldering

I used this cable to wire one of my client's studio as well as my own. After replacing all the wiring of my monitoring path (previously wired with mogami W2549 and mono price cables) I heard more depth, more high frequency clarity and bandwidth, and tighter, more focused low end. Great for short cable lengths and low noise floor. My only complaint is that quad cables require more work and time for stripping and soldering.

I refuse to solder any other quad cable. Conductor jacket doesn't shrink back or deform like Canare and other brands. No braided jacket? No problem. This stuff has PLENTY of copper shielding. You might even need to snip some off when you tin before soldering. Great RF rejection. Worth the cost. Spend some extra money here not on fancy gold or do I dare even say it... bedazled connectors. YUK. These cables should last years and years. Studio grade - thick. Feels good in your hands ;) BUY WITH CONFIDENCE!
