After an online search for these socket adapters, I discovered B&H had the best product for the best price. This was my second purchase of these sockets through B&H, and I couldn't be happier with the product and the quality of the shipments. Thank you B&H for providing the best overall value of product and service! I'll be back.

Super nice to have! Fits right into my softbox and packs a wall up. Its plastic, buts it feel solid and at that price just really is a great tool to have in your kit. If you need to replace an recest light single bulb and need more light thats a totally easy way to get it!

Perfect for the purpose

It's inexpensive because it's cheaply made, but that doesn't mean it works poorly. It's exactly what it needs to be and has been working great for a couple months now

Works so well that I plan on getting several more. I use 4 - 60 watt led lights getting 240 watts of light, but only using about 60 watts of power. Gonna put a couple in my garage too!

Exactly What I needed

I had an older tabletop light with an adapter that was only rated for 60W-75W bulbs. Over the years, I used larger and brighter bulbs and the old adapter struggled to accommodate them. Finally, it died and I needed a replacement. This adapter worked perfectly. The only problem I had was that it took an extra day to ship out (despite paying for FEDEX Priority Overnight Service), which was frustrating because I basically wasted a day and a half waiting for an essential part for my business instead of being able to get it by the next morning.

It's a standard socket, no reason you can't use LED bulbs with a standard thread.

question

will this fit in the SP-UM with a 10 or 12 reflector?
Asked by: Chad H.
I bought the 12 reflector to check. The 4 socket adapter does fit inside and screws into the SP-UM fine. I have 4 Eiko 40w CFL's and all this fits inside the reflector. They all stick out way past the reflector, but not restricted from using it.. I am curious to find out if the 105w CFL's fit next to each other in this 4 socket adapter, or if the adapter sockets are not spread out enough.

question

Are the sockets plastic or ceramic?
Asked by: Harvey
They are hard plastic components and as such, make for a lighter adapter. So far they have performed well.
