Tube length from top of the ear to the ear plug is too short

We have heaps of these at work but consistently find that the length of the tube from the part that goes over the ear down to the earpiece bud/mold itself is too short. The result is that either the top of the ear is pulled down and looks weird or the earpiece won't stay in the ear. It's like it's designed for kid sized ears but can't handle adult ears.
