question

Is this cable meant to split a stereo signal into separate left and right channels, or does it send the same stereo signal across both left and right? The word 'stereo' in the title and the fact that the 1/4 ends are color coded is whats confusing me.
Asked by: Cullen S.
CullenYes this cable breaks out to L and R channels. It is 1/8 Stereo to Red Right and Black Left. I use this cable a lot for taking PC audio out to a mixer.Michael

Asked by: Domenic L.
To my knowledge, all these 3.5 to 1/4 cable are not balanced, though they don't bother with ground noise.

question

If the signal is sent to two powered studio monitors, how far apart can they be from each other?
Asked by: Steven
The monitors can be 3 feet apart if the cable is 3 feet long. I'm not sure that answers your question, because your question is a bit unclear -
