Works Great

I purchased a cheap charger. It never updated the 'minutes left' function of the battery when it charged. This charger does that. I'm very happy with it.

Better than the original power cord

My Canon camcorder came with a power cord that plugged directly into the unit, but didn't allow a battery to be charged separately. This lets me do that, which is what I was looking for.

Great option to have backup battery

I bought this product so that I will have a backup battery fully charged since the battery that comes with the camcorder has to be charged while it is attached.

Charges Great!

This charges not only the official Canon battery but also the Watson BP-718 battery as well. So in my book it's probably your best bet for charging official and unofficial batteries. Charge time seems to depend on the capacity of the battery but I would say it's not more or less than normal.

This works excellent.  Its easier to charge batteries by not having to plug the camera in to charge the batteries.

Love it. I prefer this than use the charger in the camera. Is safer and provides more circles to your battery

Works great with large-capacity batteries, Canon BP-727.

Charges BP-727 in a couple of hours, perfect for my purposes.

Better than most....

I much prefer OEM products to the one size fits all, name you never heard of type. This Canon product fits that bill. Compact and fast charging. Battery fits in slots perfectly, no chance it moves around and fails to charge. Highly recommend it and buying from B&H, best in business.
