This versatile Compact AC/DC Charger from Watson charges EN-EL14 or EN-EL14A-type lithium-ion batteries via the included, dedicated battery plate. The charger runs on 100-240 VAC power, allowing for worldwide use. It features a foldout, two-prong US plug and is supplied with a European plug adapter and a 12 VDC car charger that plugs into the auxiliary power outlet. This makes it ideal for use both at home and on the road.
What size is the plug from the 12-volt adapter cable to the charger base unit? Specifically, can I power the charger directly from the 8 mm round plug on my Goal Zero Nomad 7 Solar Panel?

I do not think so, but I would not bet my first born on this. The port is NOT round it looks like the port you connect a memory stick to. A rond plug will not fit

Does this battery charger work with Nikon EN-El 14 A batteries - which power the newer Nikon cameras such as P7800 ( mine) or D5300 - or the older 14 battery for the P7100 , D 5200 etc. There is a difference in the battery designation and the way the camera talks to each battery...I found out the hard way that the older 14 battery will not work in a new 14-A camera. It should not affect charging but it surely affects usage.
