This versatile Compact AC/DC Charger from Watson charges NP-BG1 or NP-FG1-type lithium-ion batteries via the included, dedicated battery plate. The charger runs on 100-240 VAC power, allowing for worldwide use. It features a foldout, two-prong US plug and is supplied with a European plug adapter and a 12 VDC car charger that plugs into the auxiliary power outlet. This makes it ideal for use both at home and on the road.

The Compact AC/DC Charger features a USB-A output for charging MP3 players, phones, digital cameras, and other devices with a USB power input - even while charging the camera or camcorder batteries. The battery adapter plates are easily interchangeable, so the charger can also be used with other batteries when paired with a dedicated battery plate, available separately.

Nowadays it not that easy to find quality chargers (no OEM to be found) for old Sony batteries more than a decade ago. This one is well made and worked surprisingly well for me. I am grateful that B&H carries this product.

Does a good job at home in the US and overseas. Wish it was a little cheaper, but you get what you pay for.

Charged existing batteries to significantly higher minutes than two other brands. Can charge more than one type of camera battery with additional adapter plate(S) (not included), can also charge USB devices. Three types of protective features. Even got 138 minutes fully charged battery that showed 17 minutes with other brand charger. Quality owners manual, with info on maximizing battery performance. Can't go wrong with this product.

I've only charged my batteries once, but the charger worked just fine. I like the red/green light indicator for charging status. I never would have found the charger I needed without the help from the Live Chat pro. Thank you!

This charger is much better than the previous one (also not Canon) and is it's easy to recharge Sony batteries for camera.

The charger does what I bought it for! It was purchased to charge the Battery for my Sony 'pocket' Camera, and it does what it was advertised to do. Nothing more is needed from it! Edgar

The Watson Compact AC/DC Charger does not have an LCD screen. The charger is equipped with an LED light that will turn red when charging and green to indicate when the charge is complete.

This is the Watson Compact AC/DC Charger for NP-BG1 or NP-FG1 Battery. As such, there is no LD panel. Perhaps you are thinking of this? Watson Duo LCD Charger with Two LP-E6 / LP-E6N Battery Plates B&H # WADCNLPE6 This indeed has an LCD that displays important battery information.
