Are the media keys programmable and, if so how?
They are not programmable/customizable. What they are is what they are, and work as so. Very handy to have easy access too.

what logitech keyboard has backlight, and uses AA batteries, and a UNIFING RECIEVER ?
There is no Logitech keyboard currently on the market that has backlight, uses AA batteries, and a unifying receiver.

Adding to my earlier comment, please not that not all the functions keys on it work, since some functions may not exist on Macs.
