METROVAC DataVac Pro Reviews
Good for studio shooting
So far I am pleased with the Metrovac. I have been trying to come up with a good solution for dust on items when shooting in my studio. Tried so called lint free cloth and not happy. Tried brushes with no success. Has been saving me time in post not having to stamp out dust.
Corded vac of AWESOME!
Took my dusty machine out onto my deck, pointed the blower end at the opened case and cleared it all out. Love the plugged-in power!
Very powerful
Strong suction. Very useful attachments for cleaning electronic equipment. Only negative is that it emits a strong chemical smell when running. I'm sure this will go away with use.
Excellent Vacuum For Electronics,
This is a great little vacuum/blower for cleaning out computers, printers and game consoles. Its very well built and easy to put different attachments on. Wish it came with a little bit longer vacuum hose. (Longer hose can be purchases separately) Also keep the box it comes with. It's probably the easiest way to keep the attachments from getting lost.
Useful small vacuum
This is a nice small vacuum, quite strong, useful for keeping computer equipment dust free.
It pretty much does what it needs to, but overheats
This is pretty much what it looks like. Works in fine areas. Cleans up electronics as much as you can expect a small suction area to do. But I'm nervous because the motor runs really hot. When sucking air through such a tiny port, I wonder how long the motor will be able to run without being exhausted. It hasn't failed yet, but I haven't used it much. I'm worried about it wearing itself out in trying to clean components specifically--because I primarily use it with the very small funnel attachment. We'll see. Be wary.
