Logitech G F71 Reviews
Good value for the price
I bought this after using the wired version for a few months. It feels really solid. I wish it was rechargeable but battery life so far has been good.
Wireless range is short , Drivers are pretty old. Works with the playstation 3 too :)
I'M WORKING ON IT
HAVEN'T BEEN ABLE TO GET THIS CONTROLLER TO SET UP IN ORDER TO PLAY WITH THE FAMILUAR CONFIGURATIONS AS IS THE CASE WITH GAME CONTROLLERS FROM PS3. THE PROGRAMMABLE FEATURE THAT'S SUPPOSED TO BE AVAILABLE TO SETUP THE UNIT TO YOUR PREFERENCE'S ONLY APPLIES TO OLDER MICRSOSOFT GAMES. THIS DOES NOT WORK FOR MY LIKING. LIFE IS COMPLICATED BUT I'LL GET OVER IT. IT HAS A GOOD FEEL TO IT AND OTHERWISE I CAN LIUVE WITH THE CHANGES THAT NEED TO OCCUR ON MY PART.
I am practically in-love with this controller. Let me first say that I am a console gamer. Xbox specifically. I love this controller because although it is in PS3 layout, the actual button feel is xbox. On top of that the black grip around the back is extremely comfortable in your hands and the nice weight of the controller makes it feel as if you're not holding a cheap piece of plastic. Its simply great.
Just as Advertised
Gamepad connected up and worked right off the bat! I am running Windows 8 and expected problems with the Logitech Wireless F710. If you get one and it does not work you probably need the driver. This is available for free download at the Logitech support site. I had purchased a used gamepad and spent hours with WINDOW 8 drivers until I finally decided the gamepad was defective and returned it. Play it safe and buy a new one or have the shipper verify that it does definitely work. You can test the gamepad easily by using the control panel devices screen. A gamepad icon should show up. Click on that and you can find a way to test the device. THE LOGITECH F710 GAMEPAD IS INDEED COMPATIBLE WITH WINDOWS 8.
Works great so far, nice button feel, connecting could be a bit easier but so far so good...
Plug-and-play for linux
Works great in Pop!_OS.
Great gaming laptop
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] One problem I've had with other computer products is the overheating, which ages the laptop quickly. This laptop had good fan coverage and does not have that potential problem. All things being equal, I would buy this laptop again.
