Not bad but problematic connection base connection

Solid material quality except that the grooves on the bottom of pole and base hole got worn off after a few usages so screwing the pole to base doesn't do much. Base gets disconnected/detached when lifting the pole.

Weakest spot is the tube threads at the base. Easily snap off. 1st one went within 2 weeks. Next one 2 months. Don't throw these around... they will fail.

Not for public-facing use, won't last a day. We lost 2 in a weekend but this would likely be fine for home use. Pro's - Cheap - Holds a Mic - Nice base Con's - Cheaply made

Solid, what you would expect

This is exactly what I expected, a typical round base metal mic stand, stock, standard, like you would figure. If that is what you want, that is what this is. I am happy with my purchase and would buy more.

Will this hold the IK Multimedia iLoud Micro Monitor stable at 60" height?
Asked by: Alan
No, the Auray MS-5130 Round Base Microphone Stands are not stable enough to use for holding speakers at 60" high. You will want to use stands that are intended for use with speakers like the Auray TMS-135 Studio Monitor Stands - Pair (B&H # AUTMS135) which adjust to 54" high, or the Auray LMS-335 Studio Monitor Stands - (Pair (B&H # AULMS335) which adjust to 58.5" high, or the Starument Speaker Stands for Large Studio Monitors - Pair, Black (B&H # STMSSMPAIRL3) which adjust to 53" high, just to give you a few compatible options. question

Can this stand support Tascam DR-40, if yes what accessory do I need? Thanks
Asked by: Milagros
Yes, you just need an adaptor for the mic stand to accomodate the standard smaller (camera size) threading on the bottom of the DR-40 BH has them, it's this adaptor below. I've used them with great success. Good Luck(61)On-Stage CM01 - 5/8 27-thread to 1/4 Camera and Microphone Stand AdapterB&H # ONCM01 MFR # CM01

It is a standard mic thread of 5/8 27 you might be able to find some kind of adapter to some other size though.

Something like 9 1/2 or 10 inches. Did a loose measurement on mine last night.
