Worked fine on the 5Ds. Did not fit 1Dx or 1DxII

Took the cheap route

This eye piece is similar to the much cheaper JJR (I think) rain cover with the eye piece that I used to have, they either discontinued or don't make them for my long lens (Sigma 150-600 S) so I bought the eye piece, got some heavy duty plastic and made my own cover being careful to cut out the eye piece a little smaller than needed, squeezes the eyepiece on over the plastic and I have a cover as durable as the $109 or $150 covers.

Perfect item

Its a mandatory piece that goes with the aqua-guard and completes the weather resistant seal

More comfortable to use than Canon's Eyepiece!

As another reviewer mentioned ...the AquaTech eyepiece is more comfortable than the Canon Original one. The rubber pad fell off the first time I took the camera out of my camera bag but I re-attached it & it has been staying on since then. The pad is attached to the plastic housing via sticky tape material.

I would definitely recommend this product

This eyepiece stats on tight to my Canon 5D III. The foam is almost too thick but I got it to protect my glasses so it works great. The price is right, although I feel like I should get some endorsement fee as the product is very well branded.

question

I need one for a canon dslr rebel sl1...any suggestions?
Asked by: Kelly
I used this on 2 different canon cameras the 1d Mk IV and the 5d III - you would have to see if your existing eye piece is removable then check it the Aqua Tech has one for that camera body - if your existing eye piece slips off I would guess that it would work
