MultiCart R6RT Overview

The RocknRoller Multi-Cart R6RT has rear R-Trac wheels for easy transport over rough terrain while avoiding down-time due to punctured tubes. It has a 500 lb load capacity. Multi-Cart is widely regarded as the go-to brand for anyone who needs to "take it on the road" safely and dependably. From the powder-coat finish to the quality hubs, wheels and the non-skid bed, every element of the design is aimed at the expeditious transport of your delicate gear, even in less than optimal environments.

The patented design instantly telescopes and transforms into any of 8 configurations to fit any equipment size or shape replacing the enabling quick and ergonomic movement of huge amounts of gear and supplies with a small storage footprint.

Glossy textured finish resists equipment slippage better than smooth finishes and is super tough.
Frame telescopes to stack loads high.
Non-skid frame bed surface resists load slippage.
Spring loaded wing bolts won't vibrate out.
Stair skids ease hauling up steep stairs.
Strong tube axles are 43% lighter than solid axles.
Expandable frame accommodates innumerable cargo sizes and shapes.
Strong perforated front axle reduces weight and accommodates bungee cords.
Bold modern design. The 8 x 2" R-Trac wheels roll smoother over rough terrain than typical 2" or 3" casters used on small carts.

Once you start using it, there's no way back. It's a must when schlepping around gear, and it looks a lot more professional when loading in gear to a shooting location. It will hold quite a lot of gear, and feels pretty heavy duty. I'm glad I got it! Your back will also thank you

This cart makes transporting video equipment cases easy, it can scale up and down depending on the size of the equipment and fits easily in the car. Very happy with it!

Only used this once so far because of the short time we've had it. However we got our entire setup loaded on this cart and got everything inside the venue in one trip. Also-this folds down small enough to fit in the back of a Toyota Prius. We will be purchasing a second one soon.

I carry a lot of equipment with me. This little cart is wonderful. It even folds back up to a smaller unit that fits in the trunk of my car.

Sent me a rusted cart even though I bought it new....

Received the cart with parts of it rusting away. Don't appreciate the fact that I paid in full for a brand new cart and received it rusted...

Looks like it does everything, truth is it does nothing WELL

This cart is an example of what happens when something tries to be everything to everyone, and ends up not doing anything well enough to justify all the bells and whistles. The school I teach at has four of these and I avoid them. - There are no handles/ handgrips in vertical handtruck mode; which is when you need them the most. - Also in vert. handtruck mode, the tongue is square pipe, VERY LONG, and an INCH thick; meaning you have to essentially completely lift the item that much to slide the tongue under before you can use it as a lever to lift the item. - The extender of the bed is held in place by these weird knob-and-screws which are spring loaded for some reason? All this seems to do is make it hard to adjust AND make them literally leap out of your hand. - In horizontal cart mode the locking mechanisms for the two vertical rails are set by compressing them. This is super awkward and they can jam and/ or pinch your hands. It can also be difficult to tell which one needs to be folded-in first to break it down. So until you get used to it, be ready to do it twice. If ONLY used as a horizontal cart it's OK. It DOES break down VERY small for how large it can get; if you don't mind the awkward set-up and tear-down. Personally I prefer an old-school furniture dolly - and a ratchet-strap on my Milwaukee Tool mini-handtruck, with its only two moving parts... the wheels.

I love this cart, I was going to get the one that was a little smaller because I was worried about the weight of this one but I realized this one isn't that heavy and I found it to be more durable! This has been used around a beach in the grass and it hasn't given me any issues. It folds down enough to fit in my trunk and pretty easy to carry while its folded.

I just found out (I think) that there is a "Wagon Bag" (adjustable) that fits this cart. If true, it means I gotta get this cart! But I can't find this bag here on B&H. Does anyone have experience with this bag - is it a reasonably tough and a good fit for the cart? How can I find it? Thanks!

Currently we only have the Wagonbag for the R2 https://bhpho.to/2MMjvMz.

question

What are the overall folded dimensions, WxLxH?
Asked by: Richard
Unfortunately, MultiCart does not list the folded dimensions of the MultiCart R6RT. However, the shipping dimensions are listed as 19.2 x 17.5 x 9.0 , so I would guestimate the folded dimensions are slightly smaller than the above shipping dimensions.

question

what is the height of the unit from the floor to the top of the fully extended side that you pull on? I'm wondering if it will fit in my van without folding it down. thanks!

According to Multi-Cart, for the R6RT, the full height from the ground to the top of the handle when up is 33.25 inches tall. The width (including the rear wheels) is 18 inches wide. The compacted length is 28 inches long, while the extended length is 42.5 inches long.
