Super strong air stream and my finger doesn't get tired pressing on the trigger each time I want to use it. A flip of the on switch and I have a constant, strong air stream to complete the job.

Does a great job blowing dust off of and out of computer equipment and camera gear. I would not use this device to blow dust off of a sensor, as it may be too much for inside assemblies.

The Metrovac Electic Duster was recommended to me by a friend. Underneath my keys on my Alienware Key board, there was enough cat hair to knit a new kitten. Canned air creates too much condensation and took far to long to clean anything. The Electric Duster makes a quick clean, and I love it. Perfect for computers as it does not create static.

The air blast from this thing is substantial! It moves a LOT of air. The interchangeable tips help a lot to direct air. It does require an outlet and is quite loud, but it does the job really well. I do wish it had adjustable speed though.

There really is no other product like this that I know of!

This thing has a LOT of power and is just air, no buying cans of duster or worries about the flammability or health concerns of dusters. They last a long time and the air they deliver is a much more robust stream. This is a lot like cleaning with an air gun and compressor, just all in a handheld package. Very good product everyone performing repairs of cleaning merchandise should have one of these!

I love my electric duster ~ I work in a very large high school and troubleshoot issues with 12 copy machines. This tool is perfect to blow out tiny pieces of paper or debris that cause copier issues. The amazing results of using this duster prompted my decision to purchase one for home use. I use it to blow out the filter and canister on my bagless vacuum. It is also perfect for cleaning out the motors on our freestanding fans that are used nightly. Great addition for any household or workplace.

This one's got plenty of power, a long chord and good accessories. Works great for the equipment I work on. Just need to be a little cautious. This can put a lot of dust in the air quickly because of the power.

Are these used or refurbished?The price is significantly lower than the manufacturers own website pricing.The differences between the ED500 and the 500P are never made clear-just a filter?The 500P is also packed in a remailer carton? Used?

These are brand new. Retail pricing is subject to many factors. The most important is what the manufacturer lets us sell it for. The only difference between the ED500 and ED500P is the fan specification. The ED500 is single stage as against the ED500P which is listed as 70 CFM .The remailer carton can be used to send it to the manufacturer for service.

The other responders are correct. It does put out quite a blast of air. Camera lenses are typically dusted off with small squeeze bladder blowers connected to a soft-bristled brush.Great care would be needed to firmly hold the lens and keep the air nozzle at an appropriate distance.
