I cannot fit the eye piece onto my canon 1DX, neither can my colleague. It doesn’t seem to be the correct one, even the box states it’s for that camera..! That said, the quality feels really good.

I was looking at getting an eyepiece extender for my camera to stop my nose making marks on the screen. I bought the SS-200 Sport Shield Rain Cover and needed it but I'm considering getting it for use all the time on all cameras
I bought this eyepiece to go with a raincover for my camera. It fits very snug and feels comfortable when my eye is up to the camera. I have only shot in light rain and it worked great, but I have not had the chance to try it in a downpour.
I had lost the original eye piece that came with my Aqua Tech camera rain cover and was to attend an event where I knew it would be pouring rain. After attaching and using this on the back of my camera, I have decided to just leave it on full time because it is comfortable putting my eye to it, and I'll always be ready to thrown on the rain cover when needed.
Fits perfectly, easy to use
This product works exactly as advertised and does a good job at rounding off the watering-proofing of my camera set up. I agree that it is annoying that this had to be bought separately, but in the end, it is worth it.
