APC H15 Home Theater Power Conditioner

APC H15 Home Theater Power Conditioner
Key Features
  • Includes Surge Protector (1.5kVA/15A)
  • 12 Outlets
  • 2 Coax Pairs (1 with Splitter)
  • Phone Line Protection
The APC H15 Power Conditioner will protect your high performance audio and video (A/V) system from damaging power surges, spikes and lightning. Protection is guaranteed. Isolated noise filter banks will eliminate EMI/RFI as a source of audio and video signal degradation. Data-line surge protection jacks will stop surges traveling over phone and modem or DSL lines. Digital Satellite System, Cable Modem, and CATV Coaxial Cable lines are equally protected.

Sequenced turn-on and off ensures that connected equipment is powered-up/down in the proper order and with the right amount of delay between the stages. It allows you to program a delay into the sequence between 0 and 12 seconds. This feature helps to eliminate any "popping" sounds coming from speakers when turning on the system. This delay feature also eliminates transients that can affect connected components, e.g. digital projectors.

What is the difference betweenFurman Power Station PST-8 Power Conditioner, Panamax 4300 and this APC? (Besides form factor)
Asked by: KEVIN
We do not offer the Panamax 4300 at B&H. The difference between the other two models seems to be that the APC H15 Home Theater Power Conditioner has sequenced turn-on and off and the Furman PST-8 does not.

How can I fix the yellow light situation?
Asked by: Robert B.
I'm assuming you bought this item because you have less than clean power in your house. When the yellow light is on it means your voltage is offspec (high or low depending on which light) and the unit is correcting it. If you want to know why the power in your house is having issues, I think your best bet is to get in touch with a good electrician and have them come out and assess the situation.
