This cable is listed by Blackmagic as being tested for carrying a 12G signal up to 50 meters. Can you confirm this is possible? I can't find any information in the technical specifications that mentions using this for a 12G signal. Thanks!

Will it carry a HD-SDI (1.5G) signal 500 ft?
I work at a tv station as well. We have found that 300 to 350' is max then you have to reclock your signal. If you have the test equipment, look at the eye pattern of your signal thru the cable. You will be able to see the degradation.

is this rated for use in plenum?
No. Refer to the Belden Master Catalog for the plenum version of this cable. I believe it is 1695A but that part number may have changed.
