I had difficulty mounting it to my light tripod. It needs a connection sleeve. I had to take it to a light fixture sales store where they added a socket extender so that it could be secured to the lamp socket.

This 12 Floodlight Reflector by Impact is perfect for 2-3 light setup. This item is very light and easy to install without problems. Their is no negative comments about this product. When installing the reflector with the Impact socket ceramic lamp holder, make sure you place the supplied 1silver washer inside the reflector before you screw it in place with the supplied large aluminum nut(type) the goes over the ceramic socket. When you do place the 1 washer outside behind the reflector, screwing the aluminum nut(type) will be difficult. although small hands can get it tighten, but large hands will be a problem.

These reflectors work great! I use them for indoor photography, portraits, some night time shooting, and generally when I need more concentrated light. They work great for focusing light in a more direct location. The only problem I had with these was when I used the recommended bulbs for the socket. The bulb would stick out past the rim of the reflector. This allowed for burn hazards because of the high temperature of the bulbs. It would also be nice if the reflectors could be turned into softboxes with a simple bracket. However, these reflectors did exactly as they were described.
