Excellent product, fits well into my housing and the color correction for blue water is great!

This filter made a big difference in the pictures I took this time around and the visibility wasn't even as good as last time. Can't wait to go diving again in better conditions to see what I can really capture!Only con is that the black plastic detaches from the red lens and you have to readjust it - it's no big deal. I don't think this should happen for $. I also wish it had some kind of drawstring case to protect it.

Review for this item is pretty simple. It does what it should: Replace the reds we lose due to water. Very snug fit on housing, yet compliant enough to remove easily when shooting close up using video lighting.

These are great

The ability to put this on the front of my digital still housing and quickly take it off allows me to add another creative option. Some of the results I have gotten using this filter are phenomenal!

Added depth and truer color to my pictur

This filter works very well and is durable, surviving 20 dives so far with no so much as any sign of wear and tear.

I needed this filter for an underwater camera housing which can be tricky finding a filter that fits. I spoke to gentleman there who was kind and knowledgeable, and said a return was no problem it the fit was off. It fit perfectly and allowed dozens of great dive videos from my recent trip. Thanks!

Easy to snap on and off under water. Excellent color correction results. Would have preferred a different strap though. The one supplied - same as on Ikelite housing - isn't robust enough. It will tear when caught on something, like a mooring line. Had to replace it with something stronger.

Is it UR/PRO glass / optic plastic? Would that work on a rx100 m2 meikon housing? It has a 67mm thread but also the outside of the port is about 3 inches so my guess is that it should stick.. please confirm.

It will be made of an optical-grade resin, no glass. We do not carry the Meikon housing so we cannot say whether it will fit properly or not. The manufacturer would be best suited to answer that part.

I am going diving/snorkeling in the Caribbean - Aruba specifically - when you say blue water is that what you'd call Caribbean water?
Asked by: Anonymous
Blue water color correction filters are used in the Caribbean and other warm saltwater locations. Green water filters are for use in freshwater and northern cold saltwater.
