The kit is designed to maintain your professional appearance, even in noisy work or home environments. The Blackwire 8225's on-ear earpads let you easily hear others on the call, while the swivel boom mic takes advantage of acoustic fence and hybrid ANC technology to ensure that you're heard clearly. Poly Blackwire 8225 On-Ear Stereo Headset (USB Type-C)

Ideal for noisy work environments, the Blackwire 8225 On-Ear Stereo Headset from Plantronics features a swivel boom microphone with four integrated digital microphones, Acoustic Fence and hybrid active noise cancellation technologies. Acoustic Fence utilizes two of the microphones to help ensure that whomever you're speaking with only hears your voice, and not distracting background office noise. Three different ANC settings allow you to adjust noise cancellation levels to suit your environment. Stereo on-ear earpads and 32mm drivers work to provide high-quality audio and passive noise isolation, so you can hear others better and focus on important calls.

Voice Platform Compatibility
The Blackwire 8225 headset supports many top voice communication platforms, such as Skype, Zoom, Cisco, Microsoft Teams, Google Cloud, Mitel, Ribbon, Avaya, Alcatel-Lucent Enterprise, and AWS.
SoundGuard DIGITAL Hearing Protection
A variety of technologies are employed to help decrease the chances of damaging your hearing with regular use. Acoustic limiting protects your ears against sounds above 118 dBA. G616 anti-startle protection limits the noise level on calls to 102 dB SPL. Finally, time-weighted average prevents the average daily noise exposure from exceeding 80 or 85 dBa (time-weighted average requires Plantronics Hub software).
Do Not Disturb Indicator
Two integrated LEDs on the outside of the boom microphone's earpad lights up to let others know that you're on a call.

Included inline controls gives you the ability to manage your calls and ANC settings.
Customize & Manage

This camera is designed to perch atop your monitor via an adjustable clamp and deliver pro-quality video for remote calls. It incorporates optics that can autofocus onto your face, automatically compensate for low-light environments, and deliver up to 1080p Full HD video at 30 fps. On important calls you should always look and sound your best, which is why Polycom integrated a directional microphone into the Studio P5. You can use the microphone or plug in an adapter for an optional wireless headset or speakerphone.

Directional Microphone
With a directional microphone built into the Studio P5, the webcam will be able to clearly pick up your voice during calls, while omitting distracting sounds from your cubicle or home office.
Add Your Own Mic
The back of the Studio P5 is a "garage door" that can pop open to expose a USB Type-A port. You can use this to connect an optional Polycom Bluetooth wireless adapter for an optional Poly headset or speakerphone.
Control Your Privacy
When using the Studio P5, you can prevent an accidental visit from a pet or child from derailing an important conference call by activating the built-in privacy shutter. This manually-controlled shutter will block the lens from filming. It's also an excellent feature when you're not on the clock and want to ensure the camera is unable to film your surroundings.
Use it With Any App
The Studio P5 connects to most any PC and Mac via its integrated USB Type-A cable, and can work with any video conferencing application you have installed that supports USB/UVC standards. The Studio P5 is also specifically certified as being compatible with both Microsoft Teams and Zoom.
Works with Poly Lens
Compatible with both the Poly Lens cloud service and mobile app, the Studio P5 can be conveniently controlled, updated, and managed remotely by you or someone from your IT department.

The MS teams version has additional features like an MS teams button that when pushed, will bring up the application. Aside from that, there is no difference.
