The black Playseat Evolution ActiFit Gaming Seat provides an immersive driving simulation in your living room. The Evolution is a real car seat covered with black ActiFit and supported by a strong black steel structure.

The steering wheel support is compatible with most of the hardware in the market and the system for mounting the pedals completes the Playseat Evolution ActiFit. The adjustment system allow all drivers, young and old, to customize the cockpit in order to easily find their ideal driving position.

Improved my lap times and consistency!

This is a great seat for the price. The construction is solid but the pedal base is unstable but not nothing to worry about it. I was using a regular office chair and every time I needed to break I started moving around the floor. I have completed 3+ hours races and the cushion supports me, however, for longer races you might want to add extra support. I am happy with this purchase.

A good racing seat with a small caveat

This seat is excellent and definitely an upgrade from attaching my steering wheel to a desk. The seat is well built and the instructions were easy to follow. The seat is adjustable in a large range (fitting both my 8 year old and myself). My only complaint is that there is a large amount of play in the pedestal that holds up the steering wheel. There is definitely a little bit of wobble.

I was very impressed with the welds, the weight, and the solidity of the seat after putting it together. Plenty of screws for the installation, screws for your steering wheel and pedals, and extra cable ties and velcro for holding the pad in the seat. This is an amazing racing seat for the price, and I am a big guy (250 pounds). I was able to easily complete the installation and to set up the seat to fit my body frame. I highly recommend it!

Great Starter Sim Racing Seat

The Evolution is great for those who will not have issues having a bar between their legs which seem to really bother those who are advanced enough that it will bother them. Some try turning the steering wheel mount into the opposite direction which moves the steering wheel away from the driver and also nullifies the screw mounts. There is a little sway with the steering column which can be fixed if you create holes in the arms and then mount the whole seat onto a wooden platform. Too bad the side mounts for a shifter are extremely expensive as they would make a great joystick and throttle mounts for flight simmers. Of course they would then have the issues of swapping out the pedals when they change Sims.

The seat is sturdy and solid. However the leather cushion edition is a bit squeaky when getting in and out.

The seat and the frame structure was excellent

Solid starter rig but not for a serious sim racer

Works well overall but the pole between the legs inhibits right-foot braking for heel-toe downshifting. It's helping my back a lot more than sitting at my desk, but I can already tell I'm going to need something more serious. Good for a home arcade, not great for serious sim racing.

Adjustments are not geometrically correct. Steering wheel frame is loose no matter what you do. In my opinion overall I would look towards a different set up all together. You will be disappointed in my opinion, if you don't believe me buy one and see.
