Neewer NW561 Reviews

Great value for the money

I received that speedlight and completely happy how it operates, it works as slave light with pop-up flash on my Nikon J5 camera, Fixed 35 mm spreads light great when I shoot in room and bounce the white ceiling. I use 1/32 or 1/64 of power to shut my family at Iso 200-400, and I use honeycomb grid to shot food with 1/128 of a full power. Completely happy with that stuff. And recommend to my friends.

PC cord does not seem to fit the PC socket. Is there a special type PC wire / connector needed?
Asked by: Dan
No. PC connections are often quite snug and a certain amount of pressure is sometimes required to seat them. as long as the sync cable end is male, then it should fit.

Can this be triggered or used as a slave to a D700 or D4?
Asked by: Cynthia
As the Nikon D700 DSLR camera has a built-in pop-up flash, and as the Neewer NW561 Manual Flash has a built-in optical slave, yes, you may use the D700's pop-up flash to wirelessly trigger the Neewer NW561 Manual Flash. You must simply ensure that the optical sensor on the Neewer NW561 Manual Flash is facing the camera's built-in flash and within range. The Nikon D4 DSLR Camera does not have a built-in flash, so you would either need a flash on the camera's hot shoe to work with the Neewer NW561 Manual Flash's optical slave, or you may purchase wireless radio receivers such as the Godox X1N TTL Wireless Flash Trigger Set for Nikon, B&H # GOX1N, or the Vello FreeWave LR Wireless Flash Trigger and Receiver Kit, B&H # VERFWLR, for your usage needs.
