Apple Magic Touch ID Reviews
love the touch id
love the touch id. Keyboard is working great.
I like it but ;)
I have the full sized version with the number keys at work and really like it. I didn't notice when I ordered this one that the up and down arrows are smaller than the sideways ones which I find not pleasing, but other than that, it is great. It charges conveniently and has a power switch which is nice.
No customizable functions keys left
I'm sad. I used to customize the F4 and F5 buttons to show my desktop but now they're all taken by what Apple feels is most important. I love having the finger print key is on there though.
Great quality. I didn't expect less from Apple
This keyboard is a great product, from the build quality to the functionality it provides. Its biggest feature is perhaps support for macOS features like function key control and touch ID. Also, the battery lasts a long time. My keyboard is now 50% charged and I think the last time I connected it to power was over a month ago. I am very satisfied with this purchase.
Touch ID is good, but keys are worse than previous model
I have Apple's previous Bluetooth keyboard (powered by two AA batteries) and wanted to upgrade to the newer model with Touch ID. The Touch ID is a great convenience for logging in and for using Apple Pay, but the keyboard itself feels worse, and is much noisier, than the older model.
Works Very Well With My MBP
This is the perfect addition to turning my MBP in to a workstation. The keys have just the right travel. The Touch ID has been flawless. The keyboard is the perfect size.
Great addition when using MacBook Pro M1
Love the Touch ID when MacBook Pro is in clam shell mode with external monitor.
