This Lightweight and Portable 2-Monolight Kit from B&H brings together all the components of a classic two-point light kit and a compact rolling light kit case. Suitable for everything from portraiture to product shots, the versatile 180Ws monolights are fully adjustable over a five-stop output range, and the 36" umbrella softoxes set up in just seconds.
This Monolight Flash with LED Modeling Light from Impact is a compact, 180 watt-second monolight strobe that has the same features of larger strobes, making it a great starter strobe unit, as well as an addition to existing setups. Offering a variable output range of five f-stops, the monolight has an integrated optical slave for wireless triggering and includes a 3.5mm sync cord for a direct connection to a camera or a wireless triggering system.
The PowerTrigger 16 Channel AC Transmitter and Receiver Set from Impact contains everything you'll need to wirelessly trigger your studio AC flash units at distances up to 75'. The set includes a 16 channel transmitter and receiver as well as a 2.5mm sub-mini to PC cable, a 3.5mm to 1/4" monoplug adapter and a pre-installed battery for the transmitter.
The low-profile 1.2 x 1.6 x 2.8" PowerTrigger transmitter has a hot shoe for your camera, a test button, and 16 separate channels operating on the 433 MHz frequency to prevent interference from other devices. Channels are chosen on both the transmitter and receiver by configuring 4 DIP switches in 1 of 16 permutations on both the transmitter or receiver for wireless triggering from up to 75' away with flash sync speeds of up to 1/200 second. The transmitter runs on a pre-installed, 23A battery that can last up to 2 years with normal use.
Unlike the transmitter, the PowerTrigger receiver doesn't use batteries and is instead powered by the same AC cord that's used for your monolight. Think of it as an in-line receiver. Simply plug the end of the power cord into the receiver then plug the receiver's power cord into the head's power outlet. Finally, plug the PowerTrigger's attached 3.5mm sync cable into the flash. A 1/4" mono plug adapter is provided if the head doesn't have 3.5mm input. If you don't know what your flash head's sync voltage is, or if you're using an older unit you might want to purchase a Wein Safe-Sync adapter (MFR# 990-510) to insure that the sync voltage remains under 6V. The Safe Sync's monoplug attachment can be easily adapted to 3.5mm if necessary.
Avoid unwanted light spill with the 36" Umbrella Softbox from Savage which takes the "shoot through" umbrella idea and runs with it. Like a shoot through set up you point the convex side of the umbrella toward your subject and pump your light through it. This umbrella softbox features a shower cap-type light blocker that defeats spill and directs the light forward. Additionally, the Umbrella Softbox sets up and breaks down in seconds.
This Impact LS-RL7 7.2' Reverse Legs Light Stand is a lightweight support that's ideal for location work or in the studio for use with a small lights or to hold reflectors. This is one of the few stands to be able to sit completely flush to the floor where they can be taped down or sandbagged to stabilize its load. The LS-RL7's unique design allows the legs to fold up around the central risers somewhat like an inverted umbrella. The result is a 7.2' light stand that breaks down to only 19.5" - short enough to fit in even the smallest light kit bags. The stand is topped with a 5/8" mounting stud with 3/8" threads, a 3/8" 1/4"-20 adapter, and weighs just 2.6 lb.
