I am calibrating my monitor with the Spyder X ...

I am calibrating my monitor with the Spyder X elite and perfectly pleased with the calibration quality. My question is, an i do printer profiles using the Calibrite CC Studio using the profiles created by Spyder X? Or do I need to also calibrate my monitor using the Calibrite CC Studio?
Asked by: Amril
If you're happy with the Spyder X display profiles, you can continue to use that and then use the ColorChecker Studio for printer profiling. Those two calibrations are completely independent of each other...your printer profile doesn't use the monitor profile, nor does the monitor profile use the printer profile when calibrating.

Is there is any difference between the Calibrate ...

Is there is any difference between the Calibrate Colorchecker and X-rite's i1 Colorstudio?
Asked by: Lynne
The Calibrite ccStudio software was developed by X-Rite to mimic the X-Rite i1Studio software after X-Rite decided to leave the Photo and Video market. It was important to maintain the same look and feel when customers transitioned from the discontinued X-Rite i1Studio to the new Calibrite ccStudio. So...they are virtually identical.
