How long do the lasers last and can you replace it like you can with a normal lamp projector?
Asked by: Robo
LG rates the lifespan of the light source on this model to be 20,000 hours at Medium Brightness. Lifespan will be longer at lower brightness, shorter at higher brightness. The laser light source is not user serviceable, but would be serviceable by LG if needed.

Is the Laser that this projector uses, Dangerous to the eyes or a camera sensor? I've heard of lasers frying pixels or the whole sensor of a camera.
Asked by: Jeff
Yes, as with all projectors, be they laser or lamp, the light source could be bright enough to damage the human eye if you look directly into it. Camera's similarly, if not equipped to handle very high brightness, could be damaged when looking directly into the lens. One should never look directly into the lens of a projector while in operation, whether with the naked eye or a camera.
