what is meant by "full wide" in the aspect ratio description? I don't think it's regular full screen or it would have just said that. It said "full wide". Is that 2.35:1? If not, what is it? Can you just tell me all the ratios in numbers?
Asked by: Genevieve
"Original" and "Full Wide" are aspect ratio modes rather than actual aspect ratios. According to LG: Full Wide: Displays the video in wide-screen, regardless of the video signal input. Original: Displays video according to the aspect ratio of the video signal input. In many cases, depending on the input resolution, both Full Wide and Original will have an aspect ratio of 16:9 if the footage/video is 16:9. However, if you're watching footage that is not 16:9, Full Wide will display it stretched as 16:9 and Original will keep it at its original aspect ratio (4:3 usually).
