I used to make audio snakes myself, but I can't even buy the raw parts to make these for what this well-assembled unit costs. It works great so far- The D-Sub ends are molded, thus not servicable if something breaks internally. but when that happens it's best to replace the whole connector anyway. The fan ends are nice metal trs plugs with heat shrink over the soldered lugs. The multicore cable feels nice too, if that matters!

Used this with the MOTU 24ai, works fine. Came with 2nd set of thumbscrews for alternate threading. nice ends, nothing to complain about.

good quality cable for the price. Quiet, decent quality and no problems with the audio signals. The DB connector is molded so if you have any problems with that end or need to make any soldering changes they must be made at the other ends of the cables.

Hosa makes great inexpensive cables. They hold up as well as cables twice the price. I bought two more of these cables. My old ones are still going strong after ten years!

I used these to replace 8 TRS cables so the bundle would be more managable. I am totally happy. I wish more audio companies would use the 25 pin connector instead of 1/4 inputs.

Is this cable compatible with the Alesis DM7X module?
The DM7X module's (6) pad inputs are 1/4 TRS jacks, and you have Left & Right 1/4 outputs Without knowing how you envisioned using the Hosa DTP803 snake with the Alesis DM7X module, I can't answer the question. Clearly the back of the DM7X module does not have a DB-25pin connecter, so using the Hosa snake to connect the pads to the module isn't going to work.
