Hosa Technology XLR805 Reviews
All 8 channels failed at once!
I don't know how they managed to do it, but Hosa successfully made a snake that had all 8 channels fail at once. I've been doing audio engineering for almost 15 years and never seen anything like it. 8 individually wrapped pieces of copper that stopped working simultaneously. I thought I was going crazy. I tested with several mics, several speakers, and several cables. This snake is definitely the culprit, and it's less than a year old. Unacceptable!
Hosa Products offer good value.
I bought this snake to simplfy my studio recording setup. Its a well build snake cable for the price. My only complaint is that upon arrival, a small set screw was missing from one of the plugs on channel 7. This causes the plug to come apart. I blame the product's packaging (no box). I can fix this this without too much trouble, just need to find a small screw and jam it in there to hold the plug together. May be a problem if I was transporting the cable on a regular basis, but its going to sit on my studio floor for months without being moved so its not a problem. I love Hosa's cable products. They offer good value for home studio applications. I have dozens of other Hosa cables, all of them are in good condition after several years of light duty service.
I have always been pleased with every purchase and intend to continue using B&H as my 1st choice in audio/video purchases. My most recent purchase was a fantastic deal and the personal attention I received from customer service was extremely helpful. Keep up the excellent work.
If you need one of these then this is the one
If you need A small snake to hook up various keyboards or run from a drum booth this one is outstanding well-made low noise signal comes through beautifully was very surprised at how good The signal came through no degradation whatsoever... Very happy with purchase
I am buying more of these!
These take the clutter away by reducing the number of large XLR cables I would normally be using. I chose the 8-channel instead of the six-channel in case one or two channels failed at some point--I would immediately have a back-up without having to run another cable. Quality is good, and I am definitely buying more.
