The Insta360 Lens Guards for the ONE X2 camera add protection from scratches and dirt to the front and rear lenses of the camera. They attach with supplied adhesives and can be removed with the included prying tool and attached again. An adhesive comes attached to each lens guard, and six additional ones are included. Replacement adhesives are also available from Insta360.

Can these lens guards be used on the original One X? The form factor is almost exactly the same so I am hoping that these will work on the One X as well as the X2.
The Insta360 Lens Guards for ONE X2 will not work for the Insta360 One X.

Can they be used on when shooting or do they have to be taken off? Are they filters that guard lenses or they just guard and need to be taken off when insta 360 x2 is in use?

The lens guards are splash-proof but not designed for underwater use. If you use the optional dive case for the camera, the lens guards can be left attached for your underwater adventures.
