Just to be sure. If the Wing Grip mounts on both sides of Komodo, will it work fine with Komodo Outrigger Handle?
Yes, The RED DIGITAL CINEMA KOMODO Wing Grip can mount to either side of the Komodo. If you use the Outrigger handle you would not be able to install a wing grip where the outrigger handle is located. So you would only be able to use the KOMODO Wing Grip on one side when paired with the Outrigger handle.

Yes the body is the same, the difference with the DSMC2 is entirely internal (allowing for greater frame rates at higher resolutions).

I'm guessing this does not work for DSMC3 cameras such as the new Red Raptor. Is there any way to make it work/what is a good alternative?
Unfortunately the RED DIGITAL CINEMA DSMC2 Side Handle is not compatible with RED DSMC3 cameras like the RED V-Raptor. Since the V-Raptor does not have a dedicated R/S trigger handle, you can take advantage of the EXT port and rig a 3rd party accessory to control R/S.
