  • 4-Way Barndoors
  • Lightweight Aluminum Construction
  • Matte Black Interior
This 4-Way Barndoors for SP-E-500II Series LED Fixtures from Genaray attaches to an SP-E-500II daylight or bi-color fixture in seconds and allows you to shape and control the direction and spread of the beam for added depth and dynamics to your exposures. Use the barndoors to cut the beam, so the light falls on one specific area, like a subject's face or a dramatic slash of light on the background. The barndoors will also prevent light spills that can cause unwanted lens flare. The matte black interior absorbs light for greater control and minimizes reflections. Rugged aluminum construction will withstand repeated use in the studio and on location, making them easy to take along when you're on the go. The barndoors attach to the Spectro LED 500II light quickly and easily using the two included mounting thumbscrews for quick modification and shaping of the light output without interrupting your shoot.

Genaray Barndoors A Great Fit

These barndoors are a perfect fit for my SP-E500 fixtures. They attached tightly to the instruments and function perfectly. I've been wanting this attachment since I got the lights several years ago and pleasantly surprised when Generay made them available. Works like a champ!

Pricey, but well made

I have two of the earlier model (SP-E-500B) lights and have struggled with makeshift barndoors, so I was thrilled with B&H's product alerts letting me know when these were available. I can report that these do fit perfectly on the SP-E-500B lights. These doors are well made, with excellent fit and finish and just enough weight to let you know they're going to last. They mounted easily in a couple of minutes with nicely finished thumbscrews, attaching to the top and bottom center mounting holes. They open and close smoothly and stay where you put them. They fold up nicely, adding only about 1/2 to the lights when packing them up.
