You can increase the cushion size for even weight distribution, resulting in a more comfortable fit. The cable is now longer (19.69'), thinner, and lighter, so you have more freedom to move around.

HP Reverb G2 Reviews

The best display for the price.

Pros: The headset image quality is fantastic. Clarity and field of view is far better than the Oculus quest 2 I have been using, and clarity is quite a bit better than a valve index that I have tried out, valve index had comparable FOV . The tracking is pretty good, better than a quest 2, not as good as the light box tracking in a valve index a friend of mine has let me use. lasers simply move faster than image processing, at least until we have optical CPUs anyway. Cons: The tracking is a little slower than it could be, I've no idea why inside out tracking has not been used with lasers instead to speed it up, cameras are where we're at with inside out, so it will simply be slower than a valve index controller rig/setup. Only other issue is the RTX2060 I am running it on is not up to par for running the 2, 4k screens (one on each eye) very well. I'll probably have to upgrade the gpu and/or cpu heavily to get it running at max specs as it turned my gpu fans into vacuums sound wise. Overall I am very satisfied with the quality and now looking forward to building a PC that can handle it.

Best overall VR experience out there & affordable

This is my 4th VR headset and by far my favorite for many reasons. Steam VR upscales it to 8k resolution with my 3090 gpu & I-9 cpu based alienware system. Inside out movement sensing is perfected on the newest G2. It is lightweight, comfortable for hours, has inexpensive prescription lenses available, and with it’s resolution & excellent 3D spatial sound-the level of immersion is just unmatched. Them’s the facts, people. Hope to see you on the other side.

New user, learning curve.

I am a new user, X-Plane flight simulator. I have a lot to learn as some of the simulation changes depending on the plane I am flying. There could be some better instructions, accessible within the simulation. I am using a mouse and it is pretty quirky, but manageable usually. Some of the learning curve probably also relates to having to use Steam VR, getting into and out ot settings etc is problematic. Overall I will probably only use VR from now on, and get a better video card, as it is quite an improvement from the flat scree,

I did lots of research before deciding on which VR headset to purchase. I primarily game with MSFS 2020 and there is quite a lot to learn. If you take the time you will find lots of advice on line to help you along the way. I could not yet give this product a 5 star rating as I am still trying to lock in the best settings for my viewing pleasure.

HP Reverb 2 v2.0

Cost to performance ratio, given you have powerful PC to push those pixels. One downside is inability to turn off WMR or choose ability to choose Steam as only layer, instead of running both simultaneously as dreadful “Low GPU memory” is present in many VR titles even though there’s plenty GPU RAM available

Seemed to worked great at first, but was unable to play a few games as one of the controllers (left) had a drifting issue. After looking for some more information online, was unable to find a solution.
