SureFire 123A Rechargeable Lithium

Surefire quality, and a great alternative to buying expensive CR123 batteries over and over again. A bit surprised to see a Surefire product made in China, though. Time will tell how well these hold up, but so far so good in my Surefire brand flashlights.

Much more convenient than replacing batteries all the time

Not much to say. They work, and it's nice not having to replace batteries all the time.

Good option for optics

This brand was suggested by my optics manufacturer. They made a point of telling me the brand name. Charging was relatively quick. Batteries stayed cool during charging and work as expected in the optic.

Great Batteries and Charger

The batteries worked well when I use them in a Surefire E2D (1000 lumen version). They recharge rapidly in the charger. The charger is lightweight and compact, small and light enough that one could carry it regularly to be able to charge wherever one might need to do so The only improvements I might suggest would be to have a version of these batteries that has a USB charger built in. For the charger, it would be more convenient, at least for me, if the port on the charger were USB C.

I have an IR illuminator that this will work perfectly for.

Great set up

The rechargeable surefire 123A battery set up came out years ago, was discontinued, and eventually became impossible to find. I've gone thru about 20+ boxes of the surefire batteries in the last 12 years. I wondered if surefire gave the recharger another go and found this. Naturally it was sold out. But I did the notify me and I finally got this set up. So far it works great. Just make sure you put the batteries in the charger before throwing them in your flashlight. My Surefire E2D LED Defender is the best flashlight I've ever owned. Payed $205 for it 8 years ago and worth every penny. I take it everywhere, I use it everyday/night. Surefire batteries are expensive but they work. But I finally got the hopefully $ saving rechargeable set up.

Truly Excellent Charger 123 Battery Combination

SureFire got it right with this charger and these LiFePo batteries. The charger is compact and charges 2 cells rapidly. I am using the cells in a SureFire E2D (1000 lumen version) and they work great. They and the charger do such a nice job and in such a compact format, that I have bought two of these charger battery sets, one to have on the go.
