Adds functionality and playtime to the Oculus Headset

This is a sixteen foot cable that should come with the Oculus headset and not be a sold separately. It does allow the player to play for longer by charging while playing and allows connection to a computer to broadcast games from the computer with a decent enough video card. It is useful, but should be provided with the main product in my opinion.

Good charging cable, but make sure that you have a good enough graphics card in your computer to use it. It is very convenient because of the length.

Could I use any 5m usb type-c cable to connect oculus to a computer? Does this particular cable has a built-in chip or something that makes it different from other aftermarket type-c cables?

This is an optical cable which is more flexible and can be a longer length without signal loss. That's why it's so expensive. Any cable will work but this one is higher quality.
