Godox Standard Reflector for AD300pro Reviews

Why bother with producing a product this poor

Thus far, I'm very satisfied with Godox products. I received a barn door set in the same shipment and it is VERY well made for the price. This reflector is little more than stiff aluminum foil to begin with. It will be worthless the first time it gets bumped on something. Now, one might say that 'I will be very careful with it'. Great! Now, how to get the slightly oversized grid into the reflector. With out damaging it. Not possible with mine. And the diffuser that acts as a cover and filter holder is little more that a Tupperware lid. I have been building a Godox set of lights with the V1, AD 200, and 300 pro. Angler octa's and various adapters for the different lights. All from B&H. Of all those products, this is clearly the worst piece of... gear produced for Godox. Avoid!

Prefect attachment for my AD 300pro Godox Flash

$25 For Just The Reflector

Usually, I'm very pleased with my purchases from B&H. I was taken by the difference of this reflector over the one that's included with the AD300. That was my mistake. It fits fine...but that's all. The grid certainly doesn't (so it's worthless), and the colored plastic shapes are a disappointment. Save your $25.

As others have written in their reviews, the grid is too large for the reflector and is only 50 degrees (not much narrower than the reflector itself). It may find limited use. There are better choices out there, but this is the only one that fits the Godox mount.

Cant argue for the price

This item is good in theory, the reflector is very useful. However, the color gels are not of good quality (at least thats my first impression) compared to the cellophane that came with the barndoor kit that I purchased at the same time as this. the grid, as some other users, does not fit so good on the reflector. I am wondering if I should return it or just keep everything for the reflector that I really liked.

The grid does not fit into the reflector

Essentially, part of this system is useless since the grid can't be used

So far so good.

Is there a trick to getting the grid inside the reflector? The silver rivots holding the label stick out a bit too much and the reflector is just a tad too small.
Asked by: James
I had same problem. Round rivets not allow grid to be set inside of the reflector. I had to remove tab and use file to make rivets flat. Old grid from set for AD360 fits perfectly.
