Good solid keyboard

I was looking for a Mac keyboard that didn't have the keys sticking up like the older Mac keyboards and this fits the bill nicely.

Great keyboard

The feel is nice, I like the color, it's sturdy, I really like that it has 2 USB ports and that they are on the back. That's a much better place than on the side, as so many other keyboard have.

A whole lot cheaper than the original. Only fault (and it is very minor is the tightness of the usb slots. Otherwise perfect. It has a very nice feel - keys are quite and respond well. Only had it for two weeks but so far great. If not for the sticky usb slots it would have gotten 5 stars.

Not Apple but good feel

I have a 10-year-old Apple wired keyboard that's starting to lose its feel. So I thought this would be a good replacement. It is, but it feels like the keys are slightly further apart than the Apple keyboard and the USB sockets are on the opposite side of the Apple device. Now I need a wired extension for my apple mouse. Ugh...

I like having the ten key for which I bought this. The price was right when it was on sale.

Wired KB for original Type-A USB Port

I plugged the keyboard into my USB port hub (Note: the old USB ports are now called Type A - I had to return the other color of this model because you need a computer with a Type-C USB port.) The keyboard works fine. I can also connect my iPhone to the computer via the Type-A USB port on the keyboard. HOWEVER - The screenshot key combinations for Mac do not work (i.e. cmd-shift-3 etc.) Other shortcuts, such as Alt-tab DO work. I'm still running Mojave so your mileage may vary (I didn't want or need to upgrade all my applications to 64-bit.) (Bought a wired keyboard because Bluetooth is quirky: what if I can't type in my password at startup? No more USB wireless keyboards; they were also very reliable.)

is there volume control for headphone jack?
Asked by: james
Yes, this Xcellon Wired Mac Keyboard (Space Gray) would have volume control buttons on it. There are volume keys next to the power button--Mute, Down, and Up--which will control computer volume, also controls headphone volume. There is no Headphone Jack on this keyboard.
