Combining the 3000 Video Camera Stabilizer with an Arm Brace, this FLYCAM bundle provides a mechanical stabilization solution that distributes all the weight across your forearm, reducing arm stress and fatigue. The cushioned design of the arm brace further adds to the ease of handling of the stabilizer. The FLYCAM 3000 supports up to 7.5 lb loads and allows for stabilized pan, tilt, and roll motion as you move around in different directions. Included with the stabilizer is a Unico sliding camera platform with a drop-in quick release plate. Not only can you balance your camera with the supplied 16 counterweight plates but also via the sliding camera platform for a more efficient workflow.
Providing pan, tilt, and roll stabilization around a central handle, the FLYCAM 3000 allows you to achieve smooth-moving cinematic shots when following a subject. It keeps the camera horizontally balanced as you walk, run, climb stairs, and otherwise move about. A special feature the FLYCAM 3000 offers that most other FLYCAM stabilizers don't is a sliding camera platform with a drop-in quick release camera plate. While other stabilizers allow you to counterbalance the camera load with counterweights and height adjustment, the FLYCAM 3000 offers both of these plus the sliding quick release system. The FLYCAM 3000 supports up to 7.5 lb loads, allowing you to mount your camera along with a matte box, mic, or other accessories in most cases.
The sliding quick release system features a sliding camera platform that can be moved forward/backward to help balance your camera before you begin your shot. The system also includes a camera plate receptacle that screws onto the platform and a compact camera plate that inserts into the receptacle from above and is secured tight by a lever. Instead of having to slide your camera plate in, you can just place it in from above and similarly remove it when done.
The base on the bottom features 16 counterweight plates enclosed in dedicated cups that keep the actual weights hidden from view. Foam spacers are provided to place in between the plates to ensure quiet operation. The 16 plates can be used or removed as needed to find the ideal counterbalance for your camera load, in order to ensure optimal stabilization. The center post of the stabilizer is height-adjustable from 16 to 23" for vertical counterbalance. The weight cups can also be moved closer or farther away from the center post to further help with counterbalance.

The FLYCAM Arm Brace Support wraps around the arm, securing by hook-and-loop fasteners, and provides a metal post for mounting select mechanical stabilizers. It supports the FLYCAM 3000, 5000, and Nano, as well as many 3rd-party models. Providing cushion comfort while distributing the weight of the stabilizer over your forearm, it reduces arm stress and fatigue and allows for easier and more controlled handling of the stabilizer.
The metal post on the end measures 0.72" in diameter on top and 0.85" on the bottom. The control handle of the stabilizer mounts directly on top of this post. Any handle that meets these diameter measurements is compatible. With your hand over the stabilizer handle, you can then operate the stabilizer with better stability. The handle doesn't need to be secured in any way but rather just slides on from the top. The arm brace can be worn over the left or right arm and fits virtually all arm sizes.
