Vigitron VI00103 Overview

The Vi00103 NetMux Ethernet and PoE Port Multiplexer from Vigitron links two PTZ cameras or other IP/PoE devices to a PoE switch using a single Cat 5/6 cable. Consisting of a port combiner and a port splitter, this multiplexer helps to reduce installation costs and time.

The receiver connects to the PoE switch via two built-in 10" Cat 5 pigtail cables, combining two IP/PoE signals and transmitting them through one cable. The transmitter then separates the combined signals to connect to a PoE switch on each of your two devices; LEDs on the transmitter display the status for each port. This compact solution is compatible with IEEE 802.af/at and most non-standard PoE systems supporting up to 37W in 10/100 BASE-T environments.

I've been relying on the Vigitron Vi00103 NetMux Ethernet and PoE Port Multiplexer for nearly a year now in a montain region notorious for its bone-chilling winters and high humidity during summers. Utilized for POE cameras and the location had closed off ceilings with no struck space we utilized these little devils to split 1 camera that was not getting the coverage we needed into 2 cameras. They even work on the built in poe ports on standalone NVRs which is really handy. Seamless use so far. Seems to be a great product. I have already recommended to my colleague and they are getting some. He said to me "This is exactly what I needed"
