Adjustable to fit most speedlites, the Godox S2 Speedlite Bracket for Bowens is more compact and portable than the original S-type bracket and lets you maximize the potential of your on-camera flash while allowing you to use Bowens accessories. The bracket supports your flash either vertically or horizontally, employing non-scratching, light pressure rather than touch-fasteners or tape. Light modifiers such as reflectors, softboxes, and snoots mount to the front of the bracket as they would on a Bowens flash head. The bracket tilts nearly 180 degrees and has a 5/8" receiver for stand mounting.

Godox S2 Overview

Adjustable to fit most speedlites, the Godox S2 Speedlite Bracket for Bowens is more compact and portable than the original S-type bracket and lets you maximize the potential of your on-camera flash while allowing you to use Bowens accessories. The bracket supports your flash either vertically or horizontally, employing non-scratching, light pressure rather than touch-fasteners or tape. Light modifiers such as reflectors, softboxes, and snoots mount to the front of the bracket as they would on a Bowens flash head. The bracket tilts nearly 180 degrees and has a 5/8" receiver for stand mounting.

    I use many different light sources and many different light modifiers, and this bracket is THE BEST solution to reconcile the different needs of different days, without having to bring a bunch of different gizmos with me. I frequently hook my giant Octabox on this for outdoor events and it has never disappointed me! All this and the price is surprisingly affordable. This is a great value!

    Heavier duty than S bracket

    Compared to the S bracket: the metal mounting makes this heavier; Tilt lock is more secure. It will not hold two TT600 flashes. I am mounting the V1 sideways in order to get the flash more forward in the bracket.

    I have both of the Godox Speedlight brackets for Bowens, the S2 seems sturdier. I like that I can fit a round head in the mount as well.

    Better than the first iteration in all the ways that matter. Sound flash compatible. Locking mechanism is also much better.

    I am having a hard time fitting the umbrella shaft into the hole, anyone else deal with this? I'm struggling!

    I also had the same problem. I had to remove the umbrella enclosure and take out the metal piece inside. I replaced it with a piece of Velcro and put the assembly back together. I was then able to get the umbrella shaft in.

    Is there a way to buy the inner clamp shoes separately? I lost my two that flatten the bracket to hold my AD200.

    I went right to Godox and it appears the answer is no. The fact that the bracket only cost 25.00 it would probably cost more for you to get this item, then to simply replace with a new bracket.

    Yes. the following s2 bracket will adapt to all dedicated hot shoe mounts flashes on the market. That being all square and spherical flash heads.

    The Nissin MG10 will fit the s2 bracket if you remove the zoom head from the flash. I have both products and use them together.

    It's just a clamp that holds a speedlight. It is also a bracket that has a bowens ring that lets light modifiers with bowens rings click into it. So, yes.
