Use the Aluminum Universal Side Handle from SmallRig to securely grasp your camera cage. This aluminum handle mounts via two 1/4"-20 screws spaced 0.71" apart. It can be configured for right- or left-side use and slides up and down 1.7" for optimal positioning on your rig.

It will not, this is only compatible with select SmallRig cages. However you could look in to adding a Nato Rail to your cage and then using SmallRig's Nato Side Handle instead.

How much weight can this support?
While the manufacturer does not give a weight limit for the SmallRig Aluminum Universal Side Handle (B&H# SMHSS2425), we'd feel comfortable using it for up to 12 pounds of weight (5.4kg) or even more if it's used with a well-balanced rig.
