The TONE Flex XL7 Wireless Neckband In-Ear Headphones from LG features a neckband design that keeps the retractable in-ear earbuds safely tucked away until you need them. When you're ready to listen to music or make hands-free calls, simply pull each earbud and extend its wire tether. When you're finished, you can pull again to have them retract inside the neckband arms.

The TONE Flex XL7 are engineered to provide high-quality audio reproduction thanks to Meridian Technology's earbuds, multi-layer earbud construction, and a 32-bit Hi-Fi DAC. A composite diaphragm, speaker unit, and metal and plastic internal layers combine to help deliver clear and accurate sound with rich, deep bass. The built-in DAC works to ensure you experience finely detailed audio, even from lower quality files, by upscaling them to sound closer to the original recording.

Flexible Neckband

Unlike many other neckbands, the TONE Flex XL7 can be physically twisted and compresses down in size for easier storage and transport.

Dual Microphones

When paired with your Bluetooth-enabled smartphone, the TONE Flex XL7 can give you the ability to make and take hands-free calls. With dual microphones inside, the XL7 is designed to cleanly pick up your voice, even in noisy environments, for clearer phone conversations.

Google Assistant Button

A dedicated Google Assistant button on the right neckband arm gives you immediate access to the digital assistant when needed. You can use it as you would on your smartphone. Ask it questions, get information, activate apps, play music, hear upcoming appointments, and much more.

Long Battery Life

The built-in battery of the TONE Flex XL7 provides up to 8 hours of continuous playback.

Fast Charging Battery

If you're in a rush, just 10 minutes of charging time will give you up to 3 hours of playback time.

LG HBS-XL7 Reviews

Comfortable headset

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] After about 6 months the right ear price stopped working. Sent it in for warranty repair and the replacement ear piece would not retract. Second replacement appears to be ok

Used to be better

I bought these on May 23, 2021. They are already cutting out when I'm listening to music or on a phone call.

I bought these even though they work great. They will eventually separate and break.

Died after one full month of use

I bought this headset to replace and older model of HBS headphones, and while comfortable around the neck and flexible, this seemed like a great upgrade. However, after one month it would no longer charge. I use a headset daily for work and headset does not get 8 hours talk. 6 at best, and most times it turns off without any warning. Support to warranty replace the device is useless because the headset model does not exist in LG support's system. Would not recommend buying.

Worst LG headset experience ever

I have wore HBS headsets since LG put them out and have loved everyone...Until yesterday when I received the HBS-XL7. What a disappointment. 1 button for ON/OFF, Pause, Answer, Play that does not work most of the time. I can get it to Answer sometimes and it does turn on and off when held down. We have lost the ability to redial last number, unless that too has been delegated to the single multifunction button previously mentioned. The flex band is actually good and something that I would have considered a true upgrade to my previously GREAT LG HBS headsets. I noted this multi button approach is being used on their other newer models and I don't expect I would be happy with them either. So the sad news for me is that I must now begin the search for a new bluetooth headset provider for my phone that can be used seamlessly between the phone and music functions.

Won't make calls or send text messages

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Just bought this and though it has some great features like translating, retractable earbuds, flex ability and long battery life: it is unfortunate that the call function is ridiculously impossible to use and in most cases unusable. it is only calling one phone number, and unable to scroll through the others that were added to the table. Every time you try to use the text messages it continually tells you to update and there are no new updates available for the app to use text and phone features. This is set to work with Google Assistant my phone is a Google pixel, yet it still does not work with text messages and calls. Original LG headset was much better.

Each generation gets less and less reliable.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I owned the first model of LG Tone and I absolutely loved them, wore them for years, super comfortable with that nice rubber flex. Perfect. Eventually they broke and I "upgraded" to a newer model. Each new model I've moved to has lasted less and less time. This time I decided to try going a little cheaper to the Flex, and it's the worst yet. Only a few months old and the cable on the left bud has split in 5 different places. I've been desperately wrapping it up with tape to hold it together, so it looks utterly terrible. The body has also split open and I superglued it back together. It's a total Frankenstein's monster of a headset now. I will NOT be buying any more LG headphones, I've been burned too much.

Not good!

I've had these for about 6 months now. I thought I was getting an upgrade from my older model, boy was I wrong! The long press button to turn on takes 3-4 tons to actually work, the sound isn't very good and, they are almost too flexible. They constantly fall off my neck! One of the headphones finally came apart the other day and I'm agonist excited to buy a new set so I can get rid of this major disappointment!
